You are getting an error while creating cPanel account like “The system could not create the user “example” because it conflicts with an unmanaged MySQL database user.“
This error can be solved by two method, 1st is by simply changing cPanel username and 2nd is by following below instruction.
How to Solve cPanel conflicts with an unmanaged MySQL database user error?
Step 1: Login to your WHM Account.
Step 2: Open phpMyAdmin area.
Step 3: In phpMyAdmin area, Click on “mysql” database and then click on “Search“.
Step 4: In Search box, type your cPanel username which show error that there is an existing unmanaged database and under “inside table” click on “select all” then click on “Go” button.
Step 5: In Search reasult you will see some result like “1 match in db_user“, Click on “Browse” and It will show some tables. Remove that tables.
Step 6: In Search reasult you will see some result like “1 match in db_user“, Click on “Browse” and It will show some tables. Remove that tables.
After removing all result, You will be able to create cPanel account however even after removing this result, If it will show error then don’t forget to remove mysql user by running this command:
grep user /var/cpanel/databases/*
Make sure database does not exist in: /var/lib/mysql/YourcPanelUsername_*
